Joanne Alexander

Research Assistant

Joanne is a graduate researcher who has worked on the UNARS project and a range of evaluations and audits at the University of Northampton.

She has a sound understanding of the complexities of working and conducting research with vulnerable groups, while she also brings experience of conducting research with families affected by domestic violence and abuse with involvement in recruitment, data collection and data analysis.

Joanne has also worked extensively with partner organisations to facilitate research work with vulnerable young people and families.

While working with the IPCJ, Joanne is studying for her doctorate and has a particular interest in familial relationships; her PhD research explores the intergenerational transmission of domestic abuse.
